Delivery & Substitutions
When it arrives
New York City Baskets is a Manhattan-led delivery operation. Order by 11am Eastern for same-day delivery across Manhattan, Brooklyn and Queens; next-day delivery reaches addresses throughout New York State. After the cut-off, the gift goes out in the next available window, and checkout confirms what the recipient's address and chosen date allow before you pay. Delivery is free on orders over $100 for each delivery location. Traffic, weather, building access and holidays can lengthen a window.
Homes typically receive their gift by the end of the day and businesses during business hours where possible; delivery times are not guaranteed. No signature is needed unless you ask for one: the gift is left in a secure spot or with a concierge, reception desk or mailroom, and delivery is complete once it is left there with proof of delivery. For an apartment or office building, include the unit or floor and the recipient's phone number.
If an item is unavailable
Availability may require substitutions that preserve the gift’s overall value, theme and design.
Perishable and time-sensitive gifts
Choose the recommended delivery method at checkout. With slower shipping, perishable items may be replaced by non-perishable alternatives to protect quality.
